Labyrinths are an invitation to begin anew, to trace old steps and take new ones.

Our indoor labyrinth, located in our Chapel on designated weekends*, is a 1,024-square-foot piece of canvas laid on the floor, is a re-creation of an iconic one located in Chartres Cathedral. Its interlocking circuits begin at the "mouth" and follow a path to the center, "the goal," and back out again. During that circuitous walk participants are asked to examine their own inner lives — to seek resolution and restore the soul’s strengths.

We recently opened an outdoor labyrinth on the rear lawn of the church outside of Elmore Hall. Available at any time, the path is marked by stone pavers.

* The indoor Labyrinth is usually open on the third weekend of each month (on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon) from late fall to early spring and at other special times. Call the church at 201-568-7373 for exact times and dates.
