THIS WEEK!
SUNDAY,
May 7:
DEACONS meet at 9:30 a.m.
Church School: Children in Grades 1-5 will choose between two workshops.
The Story will be “The Road to Emmaus.” Luke 24:13-35.
There will be a SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING immediately following
Worship for the purpose of electing members of the Nominating Committee.
If you wish to serve as part of the Nominating Committee, please contact
Marlenis Camacho or Vivian Farris.
BAKE SALE & HOT DOG SALE sponsored by the High School Youth Group
will take place during Coffee & Conversation as a benefit for the
Heifer Project.
PARENTS & KIDS & MONEY Workshop will be held at 12:15 p.m. with
Paul Platek. All parents and their Kindergarten to 5th graders are invited
to the East Room for a very important 45 minute presentation on “What
Your Kids Need to Know About Money Will Not Hurt Them”. Stay for
a hot dog lunch & workshop.
Tuesday,
May 9:
MOM’S Talk-time and PLAYGROUP meet at 9:30 a.m. – 12 noon
at Froggy Park in Tenafly. For directions, call Laura Stritt, 201-227-9414.
Wednesday, May 10:
STAFF meeting at 9:30 a.m.
3:30 – 5:00 -After School Enrichment Program.
5:00-5:45 - Junior Choir rehearses.
Friday, May 12:
The STRING ENSEMBLE rehearses at 5:15 p.m.
Saturday, May 13:
Families attend the 3 p.m. “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat” in NYC. See Marianne Montero for tickets and directions.
NEXT SUNDAY, May 14:
BIBLE STUDY with Rev. Hong is at 9:45 a.m. in the East Room.
Church School: The story is from Philippians 2:1-13; “Jesus Christ
is Lord.”
POETRY SHARING meets at 12:30 p.m. in the East Room.
